Call for Papers
ICCCN 2011 marks the twentieth anniversary of one of the leading international conferences for presenting novel ideas and fundamental advances in the fields of computer communications and networks. ICCCN serves to foster communication among researchers and practitioners with a common interest in improving communications and networking through scientific and technological innovation.
Scope
The primary focus of the conference is on new and original research results in the areas of design, implementation, and appli-cations of computer communications and networks. Authors are invited to submit papers that present original research to one of the following tracks:
- Track on Broadband Access Technologies (BAT)
- Track on Communication and Information Theory (CIT)
- Track on Energy Efficient Networking (EEN)
- Track on Internet Services and Applications (ISA)
- Track on Multimedia, QoS and Traffic Modeling (MQTM)
- Track on Network Architecture and P2P Protocols (NAPP)
- Track on Network Algorithms and Performance Evaluation (NAPE)
- Track on Optical and Grid Networking (OGN)
- Track on Security, Privacy, and Cyber-Physical Computing (SPCC)
- Track on Sensor Networks, Embedded Systems, and Pervasive Computing (SEP)
- Track on Wireless Ad Hoc Networks (WAHN)
- Track on Wireless Communication (WCOM)
Instructions for Authors
Submitted manuscripts must be formatted in standard IEEE camera-ready format (double-column, 10-pt font) and must be submitted via EDAS ( http://edas.info/ ) as PDF files (formatted for 8.5x11-inch paper). The manuscripts should be no longer than 6 pages. Up to two additional pages are permitted if the authors are willing to pay an over-length charge at the time of publication (manuscripts may not exceed 8 pages). Submitted papers may not have been previously published in or be under consideration for publication in another journal or conference. The Program Committee reserves the right to not review papers that do not follow the length specification or have been submitted or published elsewhere. Submissions must include a title, abstract, keywords, author(s) and affiliation(s) with postal and e-mail address(es). A paper abstract must be registered on EDAS by the deadline indicated below.
Please note that the paper title and author name list/order cannot be changed during the final camera-ready submission. All authors of a paper must be registered in the RIGHT order via EDAS at the SUBMISSION TIME and cannot be changed after the submission due time at EDAS. The final program will be generated from EDAS automatically.
Review and Publication of Manuscripts
All submitted papers will be reviewed by the respective track TPC and judged on originality, technical correctness, relevance, and quality of presentation. An accepted paper must be presented at the conference venue by one of the authors registered at the full registration rate. Each full registration covers up to two papers by an author. Accepted papers will be published in proceedings that will be available through IEEE Xplore. Papers that are not presented at the conference by one of the co-authors will not appear in IEEE Xplore. Selected papers will be recommended for special issues of Computer Communications of Elsevier and Journal of Communications of Academic Publisher.
Tutorials and Workshops
The conferences will feature a tutorial program that is open to all conference attendees without charge, and satellite work-shops. Workshop proposals should be submitted to the Workshop General Co-Chairs , Dr. Liqiang Zhang (liqzhang@iusb.edu) and Dr. Waltenegus Dargie (waltenegus.dargie@tu-dresden.de). The details on the call for workshop proposals can be found on the conference web site. For additional information on track TPCs, panels, student travel grants, best paper award, and other information see the con-ference web page or contact the General and TPC Chairs.
