ICCCN 2010 – Track on High-speed Distributed Systems and Grids (HDSG)
As we advance into an era of ubiquitous computing and interactivity, efficient global network communication and effective resource sharing are becoming key to sustaining such capabilities. High-speed distributed systems and grids provide the necessary infrastructure for truly worldwide computing allowing end-users to interact with this infrastructure for supporting any-time and any-place services on a ubiquitous platform. Techniques that allow the advancements of such capabilities can have significant impact on the next generation of computational devices.
