ICCCN 2009 – Track on Pervasive Computing and Grid Networking (PCGN)
As we advance into an era of ubiquitous computing and interactivity, efficient global network communication and effective resource sharing are becoming key to sustaining such capabilities. While computational grids provide the necessary infrastructure for truly worldwide computing, pervasive computing devices allow end-users to interact with this infrastructure for supporting any-time and any-place services on a ubiquitous platform. Techniques that allow the advancements of such capabilities can have significant impact on the next generation of computational devices.
This symposium invites original papers on recent advances in pervasive computing and grid networking. The goal of this track is to bring together researchers and practitioners in these areas to publish, present and discuss relevant ideas. We solicit original and unpublished research work in various aspects of pervasive computing and grid networking.
