ICCCN 2013 – Track on Streaming and Content Distribution Networking (SCDN)
Internet Streaming and Content Distribution have become the largest source of Internet traffic, and are the key service offered by many wired and wireless network service providers. From premier contents, e.g., movies, TV shows (Netflix, Hulu, etc.), to user generated contents (YouTube), to pictures/videos hosted at various social network sites (Facebook), content sharing and delivery is becoming the building block for rich applications running over the Internet. How to design efficient streaming schemes and design scalable content distribution network to facilitate content distribution is vital to the future success of the Internet. Streaming and Content Distribution Networking (SCDN) Track provides a forum for researchers, engineers, and scientist to present and share their latest research findings in Internet streaming and content distribution techniques. We solicit original and unpublished research achievements in various aspects of this field, including, but not limited to, the following topics:
